Honeymoon Safari Adventure: 4 Days in Ndutu Calving Area and Ngorongoro Crater

We’ll meet at 4 p.m. at our hotel in Luzern (Lucerne) for a “Welcome to Switzerland” meeting. Then we’ll take a meandering evening walk through Switzerland’s most charming lakeside town, and get acquainted with one another over dinner together. Sleep in Luzern (2 nights). No bus. Walking: light.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Ndutu to experience the dramatic Great Migration and observe predator-prey interactions. After a picnic lunch in the bush, continue with an afternoon game drive, exploring Ndutu’s diverse landscapes from open plains to acacia woodlands. Return to Ndutu Heritage Camp in the evening for a romantic dinner and another night under the stars.

Experience a magical balloon ride over Ndutu at sunrise, offering breathtaking aerial views of the migration and the stunning landscapes below. After the balloon ride, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the camp. Depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at the crater rim in the late afternoon. Check in at Ang’ata Camp, located on the crater’s edge, and enjoy a romantic dinner with stunning views and a comfortable overnight stay.

After an early breakfast at Ang’ata Camp, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Explore the crater’s diverse ecosystems, spotting a range of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a crater lake before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha by late afternoon, concluding your memorable 4-day honeymoon safari adventure.
