Itinerary

08:00 Am - 10:00 AmFrom Hotel - Soko Kuu Market

After breakfast from your hotel, you will be picked up at 08:00 and drive up to the Arusha main market. The main products are spices, grains, fish & meat and vegetable, also the guide will pass you to Maasai doctor available at market and learn about different local herbs and medicine.

10:00 Am - 10:40 AmSoko Kuu Market - Arusha Declaration Tower

After market you will drive few minutes to the Arusha symbol and iconic tower. It was invented in 1977 to commemorate 10 years of Arusha Declaration. 

10:40 Am - 11:30 AmArusha Declaration - Boma Historical Museum

You will drive few minutes taking the direction to Arusha’s Governor office, you will stop at soldier statue and got brief history of Tanzania – Uganda war. Then after that you will check in to Boma Natural history museum which showcases the natural history, wildlife, culture and the art crafts of the Arusha region.. it is housed inside what was an an old Germany Military outpost and he has 3 separate buildings that are open to the public and outdoor mini botanical garden and outdoor art and crafts gallery.

12:00 Am - 12:30Boma Historical Museum - Clock Tower

The sites was chosen by Germany as their first headquarters. It Arusha’s first commercial Area , the tower marks the exact midpoint between Cairo and cape town, as well as  the Centre of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania

12:30 Pm - 1:00 PmClock Tower - Maasai Market

The Arusha Maasai Market is modern display of traditional people, culture, it sells original African Art Craft and has become a meeting point for various trades people who might not be Maasai by ethnicity including tourist. In search of gem African souvenirs, you can check out wooden sculptures, beaded necklace, Batik walls hanging, soapstone carving, colorful sisal bags, Kikois, textile, khangas and kitenges 

1:00 Pm - 2:00 PmMaasai Market - Cultural Heritage and Tanzanite Tour

After market you will drive 3 km to Cultural Heritage Center on the outskirt of Arusha, they got jewelry boutique a Tanzanite and precious stone center and semi precious stones.

2:00 Pm - 3:00 PmCultural Heritage - Miserani park - Arusha

From here you will drive 20 km west of Arusha, the park provide various activities, learn about some of the most dangerous snakes in the world. check out the 3 m crocodile and get to touch a baby crocodile. From here you can take your way back to Arusha with full of stories to tell.
