What to Expect
Itinerary
Day 1Arusha to Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and head to Lake Eyasi. This area is known for the indigenous Hadzabe bushmen. Enjoy a cultural experience learning about their traditional way of life, hunting techniques, and gathering practices. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 2Lake Eyasi to Ndutu to Central Serengeti
Leave Lake Eyasi early and drive towards Ndutu in the Southern Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive in this prime area for the Great Migration and calving season. Afterward, continue your journey to Central Serengeti, arriving for an afternoon game drive before checking in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater (Evening Arrival)
After a morning game drive in Central Serengeti, depart for Ngorongoro. Arrive at the crater rim in the evening, where you’ll have stunning views of the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera. Dinner and overnight at a lodge near the crater.
Day 4Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast for a full morning game drive, spotting diverse wildlife such as lions, rhinos, and elephants. In the afternoon, head to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy an evening drive along the lake’s shores before retiring to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5Lake Manyara to Mto wa Mbu
After breakfast, explore Lake Manyara further before driving to the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu. Here, you’ll experience a cultural tour and biking adventure, immersing yourself in local life. Enjoy dinner and overnight at a lodge near the village.
Day 6Mto wa Mbu to Tarangire
Drive to Tarangire National Park after breakfast, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Spend the day exploring this vast landscape with a game drive. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7Tarangire to Arusha
After a final morning game drive in Tarangire, head back to Arusha. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring the town or relaxing at your Hotel.
Day 8Arusha to Kilimanjaro Day Hike
Set out early for Kilimanjaro National Park. Embark on a scenic day hike on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, taking in panoramic views and the rich vegetation. Return to Arusha in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 9Materuni & Chemka Hot Springs – Transfer to Arusha or Airport
Enjoy a relaxed morning in the Kilimanjaro region. Visit Materuni Village for a cultural coffee tour before heading to Chemka Hot Springs for a refreshing dip. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred back to your accommodation in Arusha or to the airport for your departure.
