Itinerary

Day 1Arusha to Marangu Gate to Arusha

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up from the hotel and transport you to the village of Marangu.

Upon reaching the Marangu gate (1,980 m), you will need to sign in at the Park Office before embarking on the walk through the rainforest to the Mandara encampment.

An excellent way to take in the surroundings, including Northern Tanzania and Kenya, is by taking a side trip to Maundi Crater.

Keep an eye out for bird life and Colobus monkeys in the rainforest. After lunch, we will complete the hike back to the park gate, and then drive you back to the Arusha Gate-away Lodge.

Day 2.Arusha to Arusha National Park

After enjoying your breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven 10 miles to Arusha National Park gate, where you will be welcomed by Colobus Monkeys.

Accompanied by rangers, you will embark on a walking safari on the mountain slopes of Meru, which are enveloped in tropical rainforests. This unique ecosystem attracts thousands of animals and birds.

Following a tasty lunch, you will hop in the jeep for a game drive that will take you through a wider scope of the park, including the lakes of Momella and the Ngurdoto Crater.

During the game drive, you’ll likely spot buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, warthogs, zebra, and gazelle. In the evening, you will return to the Gate-away lodge.

Day 3Arusha to Lake Manyara NP

After enjoying your breakfast, our driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you 10 miles to Arusha National Park gate, where you will be welcomed by Colobus Monkeys.

Accompanied by rangers, you will embark on a walking safari on the mountain slopes of Meru, which envelop the area in tropical rainforest. This unique ecosystem attracts thousands of animals and birds.

Day 4Lake Manyara NP to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, you can enjoy a captivating game-viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which offers excellent opportunities to spot wildlife, including lions.

In the afternoon, you will embark on the Kopjes Circuit, renowned for attracting lions and other wildlife, especially during the dry seasons.

After an exhilarating day, you will return to Seronera campsite for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the Serengeti wilderness.

Day 5Serengeti Plains Full day

After breakfast, you can enjoy a captivating game-viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, offering excellent opportunities to spot wildlife, including lions.

Later, in the afternoon, you will embark on the Kopjes Circuit, renowned for attracting lions and other wildlife, especially during the dry seasons.

After an exhilarating day, you will return to Seronera campsite for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the Serengeti wilderness.

Day 6Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Embark on a morning game drive in the renowned Serengeti National Park, where you can thrill at the prospect of spotting the “big three” cats.

Later, after a thrilling morning of wildlife encounters, indulge in a sumptuous lunch before journeying towards the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.

As you approach the rim of the crater, prepare to be awe-struck by the stunning panoramic view of this natural wonder.

Finally, tonight’s accommodation is awaiting you at Simba Campsite, where you can unwind and relish a delicious dinner under the starlit African sky, reflecting on the day’s adventures.

Day 7Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire NP

Awaken to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, heightening your senses for an exhilarating early morning game drive. As you delve into the vibrant ecosystem of the Ngorongoro Crater,

You will discover that the Ngorongoro Crater is home to an astounding array of wildlife, boasting an impressive population of approximately 7,000 wildebeests, 4,000 zebras, and countless other species.

Moreover, while exploring the crater, you’ll also witness the harmonious coexistence of indigenous tribes, such as the Maasai.

After an immersive day of wildlife encounters, you will journey to the tranquil Fig Tree Campsite located a scenic 30-minute drive from Tarangire.

Day 8Tarangire NP to Arusha City

Embark on an early morning game drive in the captivating Tarangire National Park, where nature’s splendor unfolds before your eyes. Prepare for an unforgettable game-viewing experience,

As you traverse the park, keep your eyes peeled for herds and groups of animals, including elephants, zebras, buffaloes, and oryxes, all drawn to Tarangire in search of water during the dry season.

While exploring, you may also come across the elusive lions prowling through the jungle, seeking out unsuspecting prey.

As your game drive comes to an end, take a moment to reflect on the incredible sights and experiences of your 6-day tour. Later, journey back to Arusha, and prepare for the next day’s tour.

Day 9Arusha to Foot Slopes of Kilimanjaro to Arusha

At 06:30 am, our driver will collect you from your hotel and take you to Moshi. Upon arrival at the village office, our team will conduct registration and provide an informative briefing.

Afterward, you will embark on a short walk to the waterfall, approximately 40 minutes from the Materun Falls. Along the way, our guide will share insights into local cultural life.

In the late afternoon, following the observation of the 80-meter-high waterfall, we will return to the village for a Chaga local food and coffee experience.

You will be served typical Chagga food alongside Rice/Pilau, prepared with fruits from the village. You will also have the opportunity to experience the traditional coffee processing technique and participate in making organic coffee.

Late afternoon, we will take a route to the hot spring. The road to the hot spring is bumpy and windy, so the drive will take more than 1 hour. 

Upon arrival at the Hot Springs, you will have opportunities for swimming, relaxation, and sun enjoyment. In the late evening, we will undertake the return journey to your Hotel/Airport in Arusha, with plenty of stories to recount.
