Itinerary
Day 1Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and unique baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. After your game drive, transfer to Farm of Dream Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight.
Day 2Tarangire to Southern Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to the Southern Serengeti. Arrive by the afternoon and embark on a game drive in this area known for the Great Migration, particularly during the calving season. Check in at a lodge or camp in the Southern Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Full Day in Ndutu (Southern Serengeti)
Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu region with morning and afternoon game drives. The area is renowned for its extraordinary wildlife sightings, especially during the calving season. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and continue your game drives. Return to your lodge or camp in the Southern Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 Ndutu to Central Serengeti A
After breakfast, depart from Ndutu and drive to the Central Serengeti. Arrive by the afternoon and begin a game drive in this central region, known for its high density of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, and large herds of gazelles. Check in at Matawi Serengeti Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Central Serengeti. Then, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at the crater rim in the late afternoon. Check-in at Ang’ata Camp for dinner and overnight, with stunning views of the crater.
Day 6Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. Explore the crater’s diverse wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, lions, and buffalo. After a picnic lunch in the crater, drive to Farm of Dream Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight. This evening allows for a relaxed stay before the final day’s activities.
Day 7Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park and Back to Arusha
After breakfast at Farm of Dream Lodge, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. The park is known for its rich birdlife, tree-climbing lions, and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a final game drive and a picnic lunch in the park. Afterward, drive back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon, and conclude your 7-day safari adventure.
