Itinerary
Day 1Arrival in Arusha from Zanziba
Arrive in Arusha from Zanzibar on a morning flight. Upon arrival, transfer to Summit Safari Lodge where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay. If you’re interested, a complimentary city tour of Arusha can be arranged in the afternoon. Relax at the lodge and prepare for the safari adventure starting the next day
Day 2Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and distinctive baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive through the park, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, and various bird species. After your game drive, drive to Farm of Dream Lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight, relaxing in the tranquil surroundings
Day 3Tarangire to Ndutu (Ngorongoro Conservation Area)
After breakfast, depart from Farm of Dream Lodge and head towards the Ndutu region within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the early afternoon and embark on a game drive in Ndutu, known for its rich wildlife and seasonal Great Migration. Check in at Ndutu Heritage Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4Full Day in Ndutu
Spend the day exploring Ndutu with morning and afternoon game drives. The region offers incredible wildlife viewing opportunities, especially during the Great Migration or the calving season. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and continue your game drive. Return to Ndutu Heritage Camp for dinner and your second overnight stay.
Day 5Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Ndutu before departing for the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at Ang’ata Camp on the crater rim in the late afternoon. Relax with dinner and an overnight stay, taking in the stunning views of the crater
Day 6Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Explore the crater’s diverse wildlife and landscapes, including elephants, rhinos, lions, and buffalo. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before driving back to Farm of Dream Lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay. This allows for a more relaxed evening after a full day of exploring.
Day 7Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park and Back to Arusha
After breakfast at Farm of Dream Lodge, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. The park is known for its rich birdlife, tree-climbing lions, and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a final game drive and a picnic lunch in the park. Afterward, return to Arusha by late afternoon, catch an evening flight back to Zanzibar, concluding your 7-day safari adventure.
