What to Expect
Itinerary
Day 1Arusha to Tarangire
Depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and stunning baobab trees. After a full day of game drives, you’ll spend the night at Tarangire Public Campsite
Day 2Tarangire to Ndutu
After breakfast, journey from Tarangire to Ndutu in the southern Serengeti. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the Ndutu region, famous for its part in the Great Migration, before settling for the night at Heritage Lodge, a cozy, comfortable accommodation.
Day 3Ndutu Area Full Day
Spend the entire day in Ndutu, tracking the wildebeest migration and observing predators like lions and cheetahs. You’ll return to Heritage Lodge for another night of relaxation.
Day 4 Ndutu to Ngorongoro Crater
Begin the day with more game viewing in Ndutu, then, in the evening, transfer to Simba Campsite on the Ngorongoro Crater rim. This public campsite offers basic amenities and breathtaking views of the crater.
Day 5 Ngorongoro to Mto wa Mbu
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive, exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its abundant wildlife. Afterward, head to Mto wa Mbu, where you will camp at Ngedere Campsite & Lodge
Day 6Mto wa Mbu to Arusha
Enjoy a guided bike and cultural tour in Mto wa Mbu, learning about the local communities and their way of life. In the afternoon, return to Arusha, concluding your adventure-filled safari.
