Visitation of Africa’s Garden of Eden Ngorongoro to endless tree savanna and seasonal marshes of Tarangire as well as the foot of great rift valley of lake Manyara, what makes the package enriching is that’s you get to see an authentic social side of Africa and a glimpse of Maasai culture. The tour will include a visit to Materuni, located at the foothills of the magnificent Mt Kilimanjaro. It is home to the Chagas people and is famous for its aromatic, rich coffee.

After breakfast, we will collect you from your hotel and drive along a scenic route to Tarangire game parks. The beauty of the park will offer you an unparalleled game viewing you have never seen and during the dry season Elephants abound, Families of the ancient trunks of Baobab trees and strip acacia bark from the thorn trees, Breathtaking view of the Maasai Steppe, and mountain in the south make a stopover at Tarangire a memorable experience, you can see herds and group of animals like Elephant, followed by Zebras, Buffalo and oryxes who venture from Maasai to the Tarangire in search of water, There are also few Lions prowling around looking for unexpecting preys around the jungle, inside the Park There are more breeding species of birds found more than anywhere else on the planet, Later afternoon after launch drive to Kizumba Campsite for Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara national park, it is well known for its abundance of birds, There are also different varieties of Trees which include Sausage trees, umbrella trees, baobabs, and palms, Lake Manyara hosts over 400 species of birds, some examples are pink Flamingo, Yellow-Billed storks, heroin and corkscrew, it is a small park with mammals including Zebras, Lions, Baboons, Impala, wildebeest, hippos, elephants, and buffaloes, it is the perfect place to rest and tranquility because it guarantees you a relaxing ambiance to enjoy, The word Manyara comes from the word “Maa” which is the language of Maasai which is the tree plants used to create hedges, Two-third of the park is an alkaline lake, so the place is mostly submerged in alkaline water if you are adventurous, thrill-seeking and nature-loving person this is heaven for you, Dinner and Overnight at Kizumba Campsite.
After smelling early morning coffee all your senses will be involved and experiencing the thrill of kill to chill of a morning game drive, Estimated 7,000 wildebeest, 4,000 zebras, 3,000 elands, 3,000 gazelles, 600 hyena, 200-300 elephants, over 60 lions, 30 rhinos, and many others. In all over 25,000 wild creatures call the Ngorongoro Crater home. For friends of the winged ones, look no further. Within this caldera, you will find 500 bird species, Ostriches, kori bustards, secretary bird, and more others. Visit from November to April and witness the myriad migratory birds that take up residence here. Indigenous tribes are permitted to live in a conservation area and local Maasai graze their livestock on the crater floor in harmony with nearby Herds of Buffalo and Wildebeest. Later you will drive back to Arusha preparing for the Materuni Village the next day.
From Arusha, drive up to the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro, toward the village of Materuni. You’ll visit a coffee farm and learn how coffee is grown, harvested, and processed. Try your hand at roasting and preparing a fresh cup of coffee the Chagga way. After a delightful coffee break (so much better than the ones at work!), you’ll take a beautiful 45-min hike through the hills and valleys en-route to the Materuni Falls. You’ll pass through banana and coffee plantations, and up and down mini-valleys. Along the way, your guide will teach you about local plants and how they are used for food and traditional medicine. You’ll hear the falls before you see it. The falls are hidden away in a pristine valley with cliffs towering to 200ft overhead. The mountain water falls straight down in a shimmering curtain to splash in the rippling pool where you can float, take a swim, and chill out. You will have a local food buffet before driving back to Kikuletwa hot pool where you can swim until the evening.
