This challenge to the second highest mountain in Tanzania is an excellent choice with no traffic and wildlife experience as you hike past wild animals. Typically Mount Meru Climb takes four days, but it can be done in three days to complete a trek to the Summit.

Itinerary
Day 1Arusha to Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut
After picking up from your hotel, we will drive to Mt Meru gate through Usa river road. After paperwork and packing up we start our hike to Miriakamba Hut. On your way, you will have a better chance to sport a giraffe and other mammals. dinner and overnight at Mairiakamba Hut

Day 2Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut
After breakfast, we start our trek along the ridge of the Mount Meru Crater, you’ll have breathtaking views of both the crater and the Ash Tray. As you leave the rainforest you will start approaching the Moorland zone with huge trees. If you still have energy, there’s the option to ascend to the peak of Little Mount Meru for a panoramic view of Arusha and its surrounds.

Day 3Saddle Hut to Peak to Arusha
Today we wake up mid-night, this will be a tough day of the mountain especially Rhino & Cobra point on your way to the summit. You will reach the summit by sunrise. After having a picture at an elevation of 4565 m, you will start descending to Momella Gate, where you will find the car for your transfer back to Arusha or Airport.
