“Embark on an exhilarating morning game drive at Serengeti National Park, where sightings of all three of Africa’s largest cats are virtually guaranteed. Lions roam the plains in abundance, often spotted near their recent kills, while cheetahs gracefully traverse the southeastern plains. Leopards, known for their elusive nature, can be found resting in the branches of towering trees along the Seronera River.

Marvel at the vast herds of buffalo, alongside smaller groups of elephants and giraffes. Witness the spectacular sight of thousands upon thousands of elands, topis, kongonis, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles, which call Serengeti home throughout the year.

After lunch, journey towards the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater. Upon reaching its rim, be greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of this natural wonder. Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at the serene Ang’ata campsite, surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness.”

Day 3Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

“Awaken your senses with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee before embarking on an exhilarating morning game drive, where the thrill of witnessing a predator’s kill awaits while you relax in the comfort of your safari jeep. Experience the unique harmony between indigenous tribes and wildlife as the local Maasai graze their livestock alongside herds of buffalo and wildebeest on the crater floor.

Later, bid farewell to the majestic landscapes of Ngorongoro as you journey back to Arusha. From there, catch a flight back to Zanzibar, where your unforgettable safari adventure begins. Reflect on the remarkable experiences and breathtaking encounters as you return home with memories to last a lifetime.”

The tour was absolutely AMAZING and I would do the exact thing again. The driver, tour operator and our cook were amazing. We saw so many animals – UNBELIEVABLE. Our driver, Lukas, spotted really everything and explained everything in nearly perfect English. Our tour operator was calm, helpful, open and easy-going. I can only recommend to enjoy the adventure of a safari with Moorland Safaris, which is btw an authentic, Tanzanian company run by young professionals. Just go for it!!
