Transfer from Zanzibar to Arusha, arriving at Karibu Heritage, a welcoming lodge with comfortable accommodations and an excellent base to begin your safari adventure. After settling in, you can relax and prepare for the days ahead, enjoying the local ambiance and facilities.
Spend the day exploring Arusha National Park on a walking safari, where you’ll trek through diverse landscapes including savannahs, forests, and lakes. Return to Karibu Heritage for an overnight stay, where you can recount the day’s experiences and enjoy the lodge’s amenities.
Depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Camp overnight at Tarangire Public Campsite, where you’ll experience the park’s unique atmosphere and enjoy a night under the stars in a well-equipped campsite.
Leave Lake Manyara for Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll embark on a walking safari to the Elephants Cave, a unique geological formation. Overnight at Ngeder Campsite & Lodge, enjoying the stunning views and serene environment at the crater’s edge.
Travel from Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater and spend the full day on a game drive, exploring the crater’s diverse wildlife and dramatic landscapes. Overnight at Simba Campsite, conveniently located for easy access to the crater’s attractions.
Travel from Ngorongoro Crater to Central Serengeti, renowned for its incredible wildlife and vast plains. Camp overnight in Central Serengeti, where you’ll be ideally situated to explore the Serengeti’s central region and witness the area’s rich wildlife.
Proceed from Central Serengeti to Western Serengeti, an area known for its role in the Great Migration and diverse ecosystems. Overnight at Dik Dik Public Campsite, providing a base for exploring the western region’s unique wildlife and landscapes.
Travel from Western Serengeti to Mwanza, located on the shores of Lake Victoria. Stay overnight at Bespoke Lodge Speke Bay Lodge, offering comfortable accommodations with lake views, perfect for relaxing after your Serengeti adventures.
Explore Lake Victoria Fishing Village and immerse yourself in Sukuma Tribe cultures, gaining insights into the local way of life. Return to Bespoke Lodge Speke Bay Lodge for another night, enjoying the serene environment and reflecting on the cultural experiences of the day.
Depart Mwanza City and head to Ikoma Serengeti, a less-traveled area offering a more remote safari experience. Spend the night at Ikoma Wild Camp, experiencing the wilderness in a traditional safari camp setting.
Enjoy a morning walking safari in Ikoma Serengeti, exploring the region’s unique landscapes and wildlife on foot. Afterward, travel to Ndutu in the Southern Serengeti, where you’ll overnight at Heritage Lodge, well-positioned for exploring the calving season.
Spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu Region, known for its dynamic wildlife during the calving season, with ample opportunities for game viewing and photography. Return to Ndutu Heritage Camp for an overnight stay, enjoying the comforts and conveniences of the well-equipped camp.
Travel from Ndutu to the Ngorongoro Highlands for walking safaris, experiencing the area’s dramatic landscapes and rich biodiversity. Proceed to Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay at Fanaka Camps & Safari, immersing yourself in the local culture and preparing for the journey back to Arusha.
Return from Mto wa Mbu to Arusha Airport, and then fly back to Zanzibar, including optional cultural and biking tours to round off your safari adventure. Enjoy the final moments of your trip, reflecting on the diverse experiences and memories made throughout the journey.
