Where to visit on Fly-inn Safari?

Tanzania is a big country with scattered attractions, and some of the attractions like Serengeti National Parks and Selous Game Reserve are bigger than Belgium. They even host more than 1 airstrip to make the remote and unvisited location quick to visit. Check our top destination below for Fly-in Safaris,

  1. Central Serengeti – Seonera Airstrip

This is the most visited part of the Great Serengeti. Seronera Valley supports large concentrations of animals more than any place in Serengeti. The part is also famous for big cats and wild actions. You can book a flight from anywhere in Tanzania to the Seronera Airstrip.

2. Northern Serengeti – Kogatende Airstrip

This is an important corridor for Great Migration. Comparing to Central Serengeti this is less visited hence it’s quiet and untouched. With the use of Kogatende Airstrip you can access the remotest part of the park where millions of wildebeest and zebra are scattered annually.

3. Eastern Serengeti – Seronera Airstrip

It’s one of the more remote regions of the park. There is more population of Cheetah here than anywhere in Africa, due to Kopjes rocks which sometimes attract big cats. This is also an important migration path as December to May plains become lush greens which attracts millions of Wildebeest and Zebras. The close Airstrip in East Serengeti is Seronera Airstrip.

4. Selous (Nyerere) Game reserve – Matembwe Airstrip

This is among the largest wild reserves in the world. It’s a few places in Africa where you can do boat safari, watching the animals drinking water at the banks of the Rufiji river. It’s also the best place to plan a walking safari with armed rangers. You can fly to Selou through Matembwe Airstrip.

5. Ruaha National Park – Msembe Airstrip

This is one of the untouched jewels of the Tanzania southern circuit, its largest park in Africa with plenty of larger mammals and predators. This is also a bird paradise as during the wet season from January to April the bush becomes lush and green and many migratory birds arrive. You can fly to this park through Msembe Airstrip.

6. Mikumi National Park – Kikoboga Airstrip

It is a huge natural area and is linked with the Selous meaning there is quite a bit of animal migration between the two locations and a huge overlap in terms of what type of animal you can find. Don’t expect the same numbers as the Serengeti, but you will spot a huge variety of animals. There is a big chance to spot lion and hyena.
